MBTI discussion

What are your views on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI)?  For my part I find it a seriously valuable tool in the kit – for leadership workshops, 1:1 coaching, team development and succession development.  And let’s not forget personal development. There are heaps of practical applications for applying MBTI beyond the obvious ones of how we motivate and manage other people.  It can be usefully applied to selling situations – how to influence and persuade, how to structure your presentation; facilitation and brainstorming, pitching and developing client relationships, managing conflict, coaching people and developing emotional intelligence.
